Lippelsdorf is a district of the city of Gräfenthal in the district of Saalfeld-Rudolstadt in Thuringia on the Thuringian Porcelain Road with 164 inhabitants.

Lippelsdorf is the westernmost place in the area of the city of Graefenthal in the Thuringian Slate Mountains . The demarcation is docked , sloping and wooded. The provincial road 1098 connects the place shortly before Schmiedefeld with the federal road 281 .
history
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1379. It is the location of a historical porcelain factory .
With the opening of the Probstzella – Bock-Wallendorf railway on October 15, 1898, Lippelsdorf received a railway connection with the station of the same name. On January 22nd, 1997 the tourist traffic in the section Ernstthal-Probstzella was stopped, on July 1st, 2006 this section was closed. Within the Lippelsdorf district there is a striking railway viaduct and the Froschberg tunnel .
On April 9, 1994 (date of legal effect) the place was incorporated into Graefenthal.
