The Lirou is a river in France that runs in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Gragnos on the northern outskirts of Villespassans , initially drains towards the northeast, then turns to the southeast, crosses the Minervois landscape and after 30 kilometers opposite the old town of Béziers flows into the Orb as a right tributary .
