Lisa Oláh (born July 31, 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian casting director .

Life

Lisa Oláh studied from 1996 to 1999 philosophy . Parallel to her studies and until 2000, she worked as an assistant director and set assistant at several theaters, including the Schauspielhaus Wien , the Schauspiel Frankfurt , the Schauspielhaus Graz and the Styrian Autumn . She also worked for the television station TIV and the film production company Allegro Film . For the film Twinni (2003) by director Ulrike Schweiger , Oláh was hired as casting director for the first time. Numerous other assignments as casting director followed, including several times for films by directors Wolfgang Murnberger and Antonin Svoboda . Until 2007 she had a working group with Markus Schleinzer . In the films Die Klavierspielerin (2001) directed by Michael Haneke and Ravioli (2003) directed by Peter Payer , she can be seen in small roles as an actress. Oláh's central work as casting director includes the films Women Without Men (2009), Chrieg (2014) and Die Traumten (2016). At a focus day at the Solothurn Film Festival 2016, she presented her work as a caster.

Oláh is a member of the Academy of Austrian Film .
