The following list of well-known personalities at the Brandenburg Medical University does not claim to be exhaustive, including students and teachers at the Brandenburg Medical University .

Professors

  • Wilfried Pommerien is chief physician in the gastroenterology / diabetology department and head of the Center for Internal Medicine II at the Brandenburg City Clinic and Vice Dean for Studies and Teaching at the Medical University. He teaches medical informatics to students at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences .
  • René Mantke has been chief physician at the clinic for general and visceral surgery at the Brandenburg City Clinic and Vice Dean for Research and Science at the Brandenburg Medical School since 2003 . In 2002 he completed his habilitation at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and was appointed adjunct professor for surgery in 2010. He holds lectures and seminars on the subject of endocrine surgery at Otto von Guericke University and is an examiner in the field of general and visceral surgery. He is a professor of general and visceral surgery at the Medical School.
  • From 2005 to 2008, Ludger van Gisteren was Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Scientific Director at the Winnicott Institute in Hanover. From 2010 to 2012 he held the professorship for clinical psychology and psychotherapy science at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna and was meanwhile Vice-Rector for Research. Since 2012 he has been a substitute for the professorship for psychology with a focus on developmental psychology at the University of Passau . At the Medical University of Brandenburg he is the head of the Department of Psychology and Professor of Medical Psychology , Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy and a member of the Research Commission .
  • Gerhard Danzer is the chief physician of the clinic for psychosomatics at the Ruppiner clinics. He also heads a practice for integrated psychosomatics and psychotherapy at the Ruppiner clinics. He also holds the lecture series Who are we? At the University of Potsdam . Philosophical, psychological and medical anthropology . Gerhard Danzer is Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychosomatic Medicine and Professor of Health Psychology at the MHB .
  • Susanne Busse is the Dean of the Department of Computer Science and Media at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. Among other things, she gives lectures there on databases and medical information systems . Susanne Busse is a member of the research committee of the medical university.
  • Alex Alfieri is Director of the Clinic for Neurosurgery at the Ruppiner Kliniken in Neuruppin and has been Professor of Neurosurgery at the Brandenburg Medical School since 2015.
