List of uprisings in the German colonies
The list of uprisings in the German colonies contains uprisings and colonial wars against the German colonial rule or its local representatives in the overseas possessions of the German Empire from 1884 to 1915.

Remarks
The uprisings listed above consisted of a large number of individual skirmishes, punitive expeditions and campaigns. The annexes to the implementation regulations for the award of the colonial medal to participants in the colonial war contain a list of the events recognized for the award. For the largest colonies, German East Africa (1889–1907) 77, German South West Africa (1893–1904) seven and Cameroon (1891–1909) 101 ventures. Exceptions were the armed conflicts in East Asia of 1900/01 (" Boxer Rebellion ") and Southwest Africa of 1904/08 ( genocide of the Herero and Nama ), for which there were separate awards.
