List of architectural monuments in Ahorntal
The monuments of the Upper Franconian municipality of Ahorntal are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update status from August 19, 2014 and contains 32 monuments.

Rabenstein
The Burg Rabenstein ( location ) is a hilltop castle of the late 12th century. After the destruction, it was rebuilt in 1489–95. In 1635 it burned out and only the western part was restored. In 1829/30 the restoration and expansion took place. The eastern part was rebuilt in 1977-81. Above the portal there is a sandstone relief with the double coat of arms Rabenstein / Kerppen from 1570. The castle is listed under the file number D-4-72-111-22 in the list of monuments. The following components belong to the overall object:
- Arch bridge over the neck ditch
- Walling of the outer bailey
- Upstream associated economic building, 18./19. Century, multi-wing, three- and four-storey complex, gate tower with conical roof
- Main building, gable roof construction with a protruding half-timbered upper floor, above the portal sandstone relief with double coat of arms Rabenstein / Kerppen, 1570
- Southern part, gable roof construction with stepped gable, structure from the 12th century, reconstruction 1489–95, burned out in 1635, uninhabited since 1819, restored in 1829/30
- East part rebuilt 1977–81
- The outer bailey, remnants of the walling of the forecourt in the north and west as well as a three-arch quarry stone bridge over the neck ditch have been preserved
- Economy building, residential building, today an inn, single-storey half-hipped roof building
- Barn, gable roof, quarry stone with half-timbered gable
- Outbuildings, hipped roof construction, quarry stone, sandstone walls, 18th / 19th centuries century
