The bull tower in the northwest of the old town is also part of the city fortifications. It is a round tower from the 15th century, the tower has a crenellated crown and a cone point. The city gates were demolished in the 19th century.

The Ascanians created a castle that was converted into a castle in the late 14th / early 15th century. In the 18th century the castle was demolished except for the north wing. The cathedral was built in the Middle Ages from 1446 to 1475. During the Second World War , in 1945, the cathedral was shot at and collapsed. It was only able to reopen in its current form in 1995.
