List of architectural monuments in Neuzelle

The list of architectural monuments in Neuzelle contains all the architectural monuments of the Brandenburg community of Neuzelle and its districts. The basis is the country's heritage list by December 31, 2019. The ground monuments are in the list of ground monuments in Neuzelle listed.

Architectural monuments in the districts

Monastery complex (Neuzelle Abbey), including monastery church (collegiate church), cloister area (grammar school) and monastery outbuildings, parish church "Zum Heiligen Kreuz", open spaces and monastery garden with orangery The monastery complex was founded in the 13th century and existed until 1817 when it was secularized by the Prussian government. The possessions were transferred to the Prussian state monastery Neuzelle. The monastery existed until 1955 and was re-established in 1996 as a public foundation of the state of Brandenburg. The parish church "Zum Heiligen Kreuz" was built between 1728 and 1734.

Clothmaker's house with ancillary building (today the “Strohhaus” museum courtyard) The house and the stable with pipe roofing and rye straw ridge were built in 1780 by master cloth maker Franz Flickschuh. The original substance and the arrangement of the rooms from the time of construction with black kitchen , light fireplace, wooden beam ceilings , painted room doors, household items and tools have been preserved. On October 12, 2001, the ensemble was redesigned into the “Strohhaus” museum courtyard. An Easter egg exhibition has been held annually since 2001, the first taking place during the construction phase.
