Here HASAG produced bazookas for the Wehrmacht. During the war years, slave labor from the Buchenwald concentration camp and prisoners of war work here .

Memorial for the Buchenwald concentration camp prisoners (satellite camp for the Panzerfaustfabrik Hugo Schneider AG HASAG) The memorial was established in 1949. It commemorates over 100 forced laborers who were killed in an explosion in October 1944 at the HASAG plant . The monument is a concave curved yellow brick wall with a plaque. The inscription: "To the former prisoners of the Buchenwald concentration camp / Schlieben branch / in honor of memory / Never again fascism".

Hüfnerwohnhaus A Hüfner's house was built in 1740. It is a gable, two-story half-timbered building with a saddle roof. The house is part of a four-sided courtyard. The house is plastered, the gable formerly boarded up. Today the gable is faced (October 2017). Inside was once a black kitchen.

( Location ) Bell tower and fire extinguishing tower The current bell and fire tower was built in 1950, the previous building was built around 1765/1768. Since the place has no church, the tower was also used to ring the bell for the day and the bell for death. It is a half-timbered building with a square floor plan, the upper part is octagonal. The bell was cast in 1906 in the Franz Schilling Apolda foundry.

Memorial to the Victims of Fascism (OdF), in the cemetery The memorial for the victims of fascism is located in the middle of a green area. It is a stele made of reddish artificial stone with the inscription ODF 1933 1945 . It was created in 1952.

War memorial 1866, 1870/71 The war memorial was inaugurated on August 23, 1891. It was on the market then. It commemorates those killed in the campaigns of 1866, 1870 and 1871. It is an obelisk with a pedestal and two steps made of granite. In the upper part there are medallions of Emperor Wilhelm I and Emperor Friedrich I. There is also an iron cross on the obelisk. Originally there was an eagle on the monument, which is missing today.

Martinsberg with 30 crypts and Martinsturm The Martinsturm was built from 1924 to 1925. It is a war memorial for the fallen of the First World War and serves as a lookout tower. The tower is ten meters high and has a square floor plan. There are boulders at the corners of the tower. The earth graves are located on the northeast and west side of the Martinsberg. They come from the 19th century. They are a specialty of Schliebens.

Mausoleum of the Lehmann-Centgraf family, in the cemetery The cemetery was laid out in 1880, the mausoleum in 1894. It was built for Friedrich Lehmann. The floor plan corresponds to the shape of a Greek cross, but the cross arms are elongated. There are double columns to the right and left of the entrance. There is a dome on top of the building, this is clad with zinc sheet.

City parish church of St. Martin There was a previous building from the 13th century, the location is unknown. In 1631 the church was destroyed except for the outer walls and parts of the choir. It was rebuilt and the roofing was completed in 1672. On September 1, 1857, the tower collapsed after a lightning strike and was rebuilt from 1857 onwards. Inside there is a pulpit altar from 1699 and a baptismal font from 1765. There are also ten tombstones and epitaphs in the church.

town hall Originally there were two houses that were built around 1700. In 1830 the houses were combined and converted into the town hall. It is a two-story house with nine axes and a half-hip roof.
