In the list of architectural monuments in Schönewalde , all architectural monuments of the Brandenburg town of Schönewalde and its districts are listed. The basis is the publication of the state monument list as of December 31, 2019. The ground monuments are listed in the list of ground monuments in Schönewalde .

Ahlsdorf

Ahlsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1380. The church was built in the 14th century, a castle is mentioned in 1428. Today's castle was built around 1720.

( Location ) Village church The church is a rectangular field stone building from the 14th century, the tower was added in 1717. In the years from 1907 to 1908 the church was restored. Many furnishings date from the 18th century, such as the altarpiece, the pulpit and the pastor's chair. The patron's box was built in 1907/1908, as was the baptismal font. There are also two epitaphs from 1732 and 1736 in the church.

Southern farm yard of Ahlsdorf Castle with access to the castle and pond, garden of the administrator's house, castle gardening with ice cellar, village-side enclosure wall and shed The farm yard was built around 1908. It is located southwest of the castle and separates the castle from the Anger. The farm yard consists of a caretaker's house, car depot and a storage building. The caretaker's house is a one-story house with a mansard hipped roof.

lock The angular two-wing complex was built in 1709. A noble residence was located here as early as 1448, but nothing is known about its shape. The main wing was built in 1709, and the second wing was added in 1720. In 1857 Georg Siemens bought the castle and had it renovated. His son Georg von Siemens added a winter garden in 1910. The spatial structure of the interior in the neo-baroque style has been preserved.

Village inn The village inn was laid out around 1900 and is a two-storey, eaves brick building with a gable roof. The facade is irregularly shaped, in the fourth axis from the left there is the entrance with a risalit, on the far right there is a driveway. There are four linden trees in front of the house.

The year of foundation of the place is unknown. Further north is the Alt-Bernsdorf desert, today the Holzdorf air base is located here .

Village church with a war memorial The church was built from 1907 to 1908, the previous building burned down in 1903. It is a plastered hall building with a three-sided choir and a tower. The tower is retracted and has a curved dome with an open lantern. The roof has bat dormers. The furnishings are essentially from the construction period and in the neo-baroque style. There is a war memorial on the north side of the church.

Brandis

Brandis is located about 4 kilometers southwest of Schönewalde and east of federal highway 101 . The village was first mentioned in 1380. The place was destroyed in the Thirty Years War, but settled again before 1672. In fires in 1831 and 1832, substantial parts of the village were destroyed.

Rectory with gate system The former rectory was built in 1908. It is a massive building with a mansard roof. On the eaves sides there are always small houses. The entrance is on the left-hand side of the gable, with a small flight of stairs in front of it. The front garden is separated from the street by a gate.

Medium-sized farmstead, consisting of a residential house, right-hand barn with bakery, drive-through barn and brick paving of the courtyard area The house on the village green was built from 1914 to 1917. It is an eaves, single-storey brick building with a gable roof. On the street side there is a dwelling with a triangular gable. The facade is otherwise structured by a cornice. A stable with a bakery and a barn also belong to the homestead.

Tower windmill The tower windmill was built around 1880, it was in operation until 1987 as a grist mill. It is a brick building with four storeys, the hood is rotatable. In 1925/1926 the wings and the compass rose were removed, the drive was first with a motor, since 1940 with an electric motor. Little has been preserved of the mill technology, so the mill elevator still exists.

( Location ) Village church with bell tower The Protestant church was built in 1732 as a half-timbered building with a freestanding boarded bell chair. The interior furnishings date from the construction period around 1732. The altarpiece is made of wood, in the main field there is a crucifix, the body is damaged and was therefore removed. The pulpit stands on a palm tree base. In addition, there is a baptism and parish and patronage pews in the church.

Jeßnigk

Jeßnigk was first mentioned in a document in 1383, the church was built around 1300. A windmill was built in the 18th century. On December 17, 1863, almost the entire village burned down.

Knippelsdorf

Knippelsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1346, the church was built a little later. On June 20, 1858, a large part of the village burned down.

The pulpit altar was erected in 1846, but parts of it are older. In the predella there is a representation of the Last Supper. The organ was built in 1873. Knippelsdorf settlement

Originally the settlement was a sheep farm of the Werchau estate. In 1904 Max Kiesel bought the Vorwerk . After the Second World War, the property was expropriated and farms were built for refugees.

Memorial to the fallen of World War I in front of the cemetery To the north-west of the entrance to the cemetery is the memorial to those who died in the First World War, it was erected around 1925/1930. On a foundation made of field stone there is a base made of shell limestone, on top of which is a pyramid made of shell limestone with reliefs. On the base there is a plaque with the names of the fallen from Schönewalde.

Paltrockmühle and oven The mill was built in 1815. They originally stood in Ecksdorf, a district of Baruth / Mark and was only in 1939 after Schoenewalde translocates while a windmill to a Paltrockmühle rebuilt. The mill was operated electrically until 1972. The mill technology has been completely preserved and is still functional today.

Memorial with a Soviet memorial The memorial was inaugurated in May 1947. Soviet soldiers who were executed in Falkenberg or died in the military hospital in Schönewalde were buried here. There are 157 graves. A memorial is located in the middle of the complex. This memorial consists of a base with nine steps, at the corners there are bases with bowls. A stele with a Soviet star rises on the nine steps. There is a plaque with an inscription facing the street.

( Location ) Village church The Protestant village church is a rectangular granite block construction, built around 1300 and thus in its core early Gothic. In the late Middle Ages the church was raised and lengthened to the west. The openings were changed in the baroque period. The square roof tower in brick framework with a curved tent roof dates from the 19th century and was renewed after a fire in 1953. Numerous tombstones (epitaphs) are on the outer walls of the church, especially from the von Leipzig family. A font from the time it was made and an organ from 1891, built by master organ builder Rühlmann in Zörbig, are located inside. The church was extensively renovated from 1999 to 2007.
