Buildings and facilities of the briquette factory Louise (oldest briquette factory in Brandenburg) In September 1882 the briquette factory Louise went into operation, in which in 1883 already over 150,000 hl. Raw lignite can be processed into briquettes. In 1908 the first construction phase of the power plant hall began, in 1924 and 1938 further construction phases followed until the building was completed in its current form. The daily output of the briquette factory was 360 t in 1938.

( Location ) Village church The church is a low hall church from the 15th century. Their irregular masonry has a high proportion of lawn iron stones. On the south side there are three irregularly arranged windows of different sizes. Another window can be found on the north side of the church, three on the choir. The church was completely renovated between 1662 and 1695 after the Thirty Years War, in which the building was badly damaged.

It is a two-storey, eaves brick building with a gable roof. The facade is characterized by a two-axis risalit with a dwarf house. The facade is further structured by Uiegelbands. The distinctive Wilhelminian style building is characteristic of the town today.

Prestewitz manor A manor can be found in Prestewitz as early as 1600 under the von Brandenstein family . After the purchase of the Prestewitz manor by the Leipzig architect Georg Willy von Zimmermann , the old distillery, which was built in the second half of the 18th century, was converted into a hunting lodge in 1903. The building now serves as a residential building.

The roof tower was added in 1769. The nave of the church has a flat ceiling and a horseshoe gallery. The carved altar dates from the 16th century. The late Romanesque baptism made of sandstone comes from Martinskirchen . There is an atonement cross at the south entrance.
