List of castle stables in Munich
This page gives an overview of castle stables , i.e. places where a castle once stood in the urban area of Munich . Castle stalls in the district of Munich bordering the city are listed under Castle stables in the district of Munich . Of the medieval castle complexes in the city area, only the Old Court and Blutenburg Castle have survived , all the rest have been removed. Remains of some of the castles are still visible, others are only known from documents. The exact location of these is often uncertain, and the existence of some can only be assumed. As far as the location is known, these castle stables are mostly entered as ground monuments in the Bavarian list of monuments.
