Meanwhile, Meg has to endure the hatred of the city because she took on the accident (Peter promised her a convertible for it). Peter now thinks real life is a TV show and walks to Meg's school with a cardboard television strapped to him. She now tells everyone that her father is the culprit. Lois saves her husband from the angry mob by giving a speech about how much television has negatively influenced her. Peter takes the words to heart and now cares more about his family. But she soon gets fed up with the excursions and is happy about the return of television. Now it's Peter who doesn't care and goes to a party with William Shatner instead of his family. To reassure Lois, he promises to take care of everything and put on a great party. Out of desperation, he “kidnaps” a circus and brings it to his garden as an attraction. Meg has since not been accepted into the cheerleaders. At school, she meets Jennifer, who is a bit strange and invites her to a party for Stewie's birthday party. Of course, Meg would rather go there than celebrate with her family. Lois refuses her request and she tricked Peter into agreeing. Jennifer and her friends belong to a youth sect and want to commit suicide that day together with their leader. Peter realizes how sad his wife is about Meg's absence and fetches his daughter. The youngsters (except Meg) die due to an accident while their guide is absent. Because he doesn't want to die alone, he drives to the Griffins house. He wears a white ceremonial robe. As a punishment, they have to leave the tour. Lois has other worries. The piano competition is coming up, and she has no student good enough to compete against the student of her arch rival. At that moment Peter comes back disappointed from the tour and tries to get Lois' attention by playing the piano. It turns out that when drunk, Peter is an excellent pianist. So Lois is now doing everything possible to keep Peter's alcohol level high enough; in the end they win the competition. But Lois reproaches herself for putting her husband's health at risk for her ego. Peter reassures her that his brain cells are fine. A look in Peter's head raises doubts. | |||||
