18th century Material collection of the Daubitz manor with the following individual monuments: Castle (No. 18), surrounded on three sides by farm buildings (No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20) and three-arched access bridge (see also individual monuments 09276395) and Gutspark (garden monument); of importance in terms of building history, local history and landscape design; Daubitz manor with castle, farm buildings, three-arched access bridge and manor park as a garden monument; the baroque mansion, whose ornate sandstone portal on the courtyard side is marked with the alliance coat of arms “1720”, is a two-storey, massive plastered building of 9: 5 axes with a mansard hipped roof. On the park side, an arbor opens up as a central projection with a three-arched loggia and outside staircase, which is gabled in Renaissance forms (2nd half of the 19th century). The building fits into the row of mansions that shape the special cultural landscape of Upper Lusatia. Three sides of compact, two-storey farm buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries (the north side with the arched entrance is probably even older than the manor house) complete the shape of the large property, mentioned 600 years ago, and create a courtyard. In terms of quality, its basic idea rises above most comparable properties in the region, and to the west is the almost 800-meter-long and about 200-meter-wide estate park with a slight elliptical shape. A large central open space and the old trees that frame it, with their suggestion of infinite nature, are exemplary for a landscape park, as it was also created in Saxony through English influence in the early 19th century. Despite some losses and temporary neglect, the documentation value of the park is high due to its still significant substance. 09300764
