The station is located on the highest point of the Schanzberg northeast of Oberseifersdorf. The owner of the area was the landowner JA Krische from this place, who sold an area of ​​37 m² for 16 marks for the construction of the pillar. The contract was concluded on January 7, 1867. A compensation sum of 30 marks was paid. The pillar is still in good condition. From the inscription "Station / SCHANZBERG / der /.../ Triangulirung / 1865." The abbreviations Kön. Saxon. chiseled out. There are three recesses on the top surface with the center marking in the middle. The cover plate is next to the pillar. This is not visible from afar and is currently difficult to access, as the entire hilltop is made up of dense bush vegetation. To the southeast of the wind turbine, the small peak rises above the Schanzberg plateau. The pillar is at the highest point, but there is currently no recognizable entrance.	09305029
