Simple neo-Romanesque hall church, built in 1874/75 according to plans by master bricklayer Peschel from Niedercunnersdorf, the tower built according to plans by fire insurance inspector Leuthold from Bautzen, restoration 1981–93.
Plastered quarry stone building, the retracted choir with a polygonal finish and gable roof. Arched windows, on the south side between two buttresses the remains of a arched portal. Almost completely drawn in west tower on a square floor plan, folding roof. The flat-roofed hall unadorned, large round arch to the semicircular choir. On the north and south side two-storey galleries, occupying the entire height of the room, on the west side organ gallery. The pillars of the galleries with stuccoed composite capitals. The fabric-imitating painting on the lower choir wall was added during the restoration 1981–93. Neo-Gothic altar, probably like the other furnishings from the end of the 19th century. Vine tendrils carved in the predella, above two slender columns with closing pinnacles, pointed arch niche with eyelashes and finial, in the niche a crucifix. Simple, neo-Gothic pulpit with an octagonal basket on a slender, octagonal pillar. The polygonal baptismal frame with a bell-shaped lid, the foot with palm branches. Organ by Andreas Schuster, 1876. Church: plastered quarry stone building with polygonal choir, saddle roof, arched windows, inside galleries on the north and south sides, shoemaker organ from 1876, neo-Gothic altar and pulpit, tomb Karl August Reinhold Mrosky (1844-1915), sandstone plinth with column and two Medallions, top urn, tomb for the manor with retaining wall, eight steps and curved back wall. This was mistakenly mistaken for a warrior grave until 2011. |
