The Mexican state of Aguascalientes is divided into eleven administrative districts ( Municipios ). These are made up of 2932 localities ( localidades ), including 29 urban (urban). Small villages ( pueblo ), farms ( hazienda , rancho ) and all detached houses are recorded as localidades , regardless of whether they are inhabited or not. The administrative districts usually bear the name of their administrative center ( cabecera municipal ).
