1The Municipio Bacalar was created in 2011 from parts of the Municipio Othón P. Blanco, the Municipio Puerto Morelos from parts of the Municipio Benito Juárez in 2015. For the two new municipalities there are therefore no data from the INEGI , whereas the data for the municipalities Benito Juárez and Othón P. Blanco are still based on their old dimensions.
