Othón P. Blanco is a municipality in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo . The seat of the municipality and its largest town is Chetumal . In 2011 the north of Othón P. Blancos was split off and the new Municipio Bacalar was formed.

The municipality borders the Municipio Bacalar in the north, the Caribbean in the east, Belize in the south and the state of Campeche in the west .
