Ramsar areas in Namibia are protected wetlands in Namibia according to the Ramsar Convention, which was concluded in 1971 . These are of international importance, according to the intention of the international international treaty in particular as a habitat for water and wading birds .

Namibia currently has four Ramsar areas (as of 2008) with an area of ​​3,012,300 hectares (ha).
