The following list contains all birds (aves) that are or have been found in Kiribati .

While there is only a limited biodiversity on the inhabited atolls of Kiribati, the marine nature reserves with the Phoenix Islands Protected Area in the Phoenix Islands and the uninhabited atolls of the Line Islands including the inhabited atoll Kiritimati offer a large area of ​​resting and breeding areas.
