List of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah
The list of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah contains the ceremonial heads of state of the Malaysian state of Sabah since joining the Malaya Federation on September 16, 1963.
The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah (formerly also known as the Governor of Sabah) is the name for the ceremonial head of state in the Malaysian state of Sabah . He is appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the proposal of the Prime Minister. The Yang di-Pertua Negeri bears the title Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT), which means " His Excellency " .
