The church, which was a branch church of Pfaffing until 1891, consists of three construction phases. The rear late Gothic part dates from the middle of the 15th century. In 1835 the church tower was increased to its current height of 62 m. The front part with concrete elements was built in 1967. The main altar dates from the end of the 17th century.
