Lion sculpture | Lion sculpture in the city park in front of the cemetery, west of Smetanova street. The sculpture by the Dresden sculptor Clemens Grundig was erected in 1908. The picture shows the Bohemian lion (as a symbol of the Kingdom of Bohemia), which protects the Austro-Hungarian eagle (i.e. the Austro-Hungarian monarchy). This was to commemorate those who fell in the Austro-Prussian War of 1866. The plaque originally attached to the base with the names of the victims no longer exists. |

The burial chapel at the end of the southern axis of the cemetery has the shape of a Greek cross and is equipped with a heating system. |
