The former mill was first named in 1635 as "Hoffmühl negst obers Schloß". In 1827 it was rebuilt from scratch. In 1873 it was taken over by Ferdinand Polsterer (hence the name "Polsterermühle"). In 2004 operations were stopped.

The Wiener Neustädter Canal was put into operation in 1803 and extended up to 63 km. Originally it was planned as far as Trieste . Parts of the route were later converted to railway lines, so that the movement of goods fell sharply from 1879 onwards.

The romantic park was created after 1796 under Peter von Braun with pleasure buildings, artificial bodies of water and winding paths, the lion gate at the entrance (Günselsdorf) was built in 1812. Also designated as a natural monument .

Note: The castle park is privately owned and is currently not accessible. It is partially located in the KG Günselsdorf.

The so-called fort, at its core a Renaissance building from the 16th century, was rebuilt in the late 18th century in the classicism style and, in the course of late historical extensions, received a tower in 1898 . Typical features of all three construction phases can be seen. From 2017 the system was renovated by the Rudolf Steiner School Association.

The Temple of the Night , a Masonic grotto in the palace gardens, was built by Peter von Braun around 1800 and is in ruins. The rock bridge also dates from this time.
