The Thorntonhaus (named after Johann Thornton or a relative) is a former calico factory from 1773, which was built for Franz Xaver Lang on the site of a cloth factory. The factory operated until 1832. Subsequently, the building served as a citizen supply house . In the middle of the 19th century the building was converted into a residential building. The three-story building consists of three wings around a park-like courtyard. There are two arched passageways in the front wing on the street side.

The renaissance castle stands on the site of a medieval castle within a spacious park. The castle can be reached via a bridge consisting of three stone arches. The castle was built in 1294 by Otacher von Ebreichsdorf. The castle was conquered by Matthias Corvinus in 1487 and destroyed in 1529 during the first Turkish siege . The castle has been owned by the Drasche-Wartinberg family since 1909 . During the occupation the castle was looted and devastated.

The elementary and secondary school were topped up in 1926 by Siegfried Theiss and Hans Jaksch , and the gymnasium was added in 1927. The facade was also redesigned. The wooden ribbed vault near the gym is a listed building.

The rectory was rebuilt after 1590 by Hieronymus Beck . The two-storey building was renovated by Anton Pilati in 1705. In 1976 a Gothic light niche with a clover leaf arch, which probably dates back to the 14th century, was uncovered.

The parish church is surrounded by a stone wall from the cemetery. A tower at the entrance is presented to the essentially Romanesque building. It is documented in 1120 and in 1313 it was a branch church of Traiskirchen. From 1320 it is the parish church. In 1474 it was destroyed by the Hungarians. It was rebuilt in the 15th century. In 1590 it was damaged in an earthquake. From 1721 it was re-donated as a parish church. It has been the patronage of the Drasche-Wartinberg family since 1909.

The Trinity Column is an obelisk with a group of statues, God the Father, Son and Mary, surrounded by statues of the plague saints Sebastian, Rochus and Johannes Nepomuk on volute consoles, with a relief of St. Rosalia. The column dates from the 1st quarter of the 18th century and was moved from the main square to the junction with Badener Strasse in 1972 ( Lage ) . Since 2017 the Trinity Column has been standing near the main square again.

Note: The municipality awards the renovation contract at the end of 2015.

The funeral hall is the former crypt chapel of Johann Nepomuk von Lang, who died in 1809. She still bears the memorial plaque to the family members today.

The branch church is dedicated to St. Dedicated to George and is surrounded by the cemetery. It was built around 1320 in the early Gothic style and received an attached tower in the 16th or 17th century. Schranawand was its own parish until the end of the 15th century, after which it was incorporated into Ebreichsdorf and in 1721 Unterwaltersdorf. The church was restored in 1976/1977.

3-4 meter high ring wall made of quarry stone and ashlar masonry around the church and chapel, 13th to 16th century. Cemetery building attached to the wall on the north side, the core dating back to the 13th century.

Romanesque square choir hall from the middle of the 12th century, after the destruction in 1252 the nave was raised and the square choir was built, and the south chapel was added. In the 14th century the church and churchyard were converted into a fortification. Schöngrabern Palace (also Schöngraben Palace ) was the seat of a small, but much older lordship, first mentioned in 1499, whose subjects lived in the “Bayernlandl” opposite. 1571 mentioned as Freihof . After Andreas Kielmann acquired the rule, the castle was named "Kielmannsegg". In 1656 Friedrich Cavriani bought the castle and changed the name to Schöngraben Castle. After the destruction in 1683 in the course of the Turkish invasions, it was rebuilt. Today's baroque palace is located in an English garden, which has been designated a natural monument, with ponds, watercourses, hill islands and bridges.
