First mentioned in a document in 1248, the castle was the favorite seat of the minstrel Ulrich von Liechtenstein . It was expanded by Rudolf IV at the end of the 14th and 15th centuries with the help of Italian masters. 1437–1656 owned by the Stubenberger , from 1666 owned by the Schwarzenberg . The castle fell into disrepair from the beginning of the 19th century. T. collapsed Palas . On the valley side of the tower-like building, two storeys with coupled arched windows with Romanesque columns. The lower-lying residential buildings were built later. Gothic rib vaults of the Martin's Chapel, built in 1434, have been preserved in fragments.
