List of the German ambassadors in Montenegro

The list of German ambassadors in Montenegro contains the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro . The embassy is based in Podgorica . After a successful referendum, on June 3, 2006 the parliament of Montenegro declared the international community of Serbia and Montenegro to be dissolved. Montenegro became an independent state.

On June 14, 2006, the Federal Cabinet approved the establishment of diplomatic relations with Montenegro. Germany sent an ambassador to Podgorica, Montenegro an ambassador to Berlin .
