List of German ambassadors in Denmark
Since 1656 Prussian envoys were appointed to Copenhagen , since 1868 those of the North German Confederation. From 1871 the German Reich appointed envoys to Copenhagen. During the occupation by the German Reich 1940–1945, these were replaced by authorized representatives. In January 1951, a consulate general of the Federal Republic of Germany was set up in Copenhagen, which was converted into an embassy in June 1951.
