List of German ambassadors in the Republic of Moldova

The list of German ambassadors in the Republic of Moldova contains the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Moldova . The embassy is based in Chișinău . On August 27, 1991, the Republic of Moldova became the last of the Soviet republics to declare its state independence. On April 30, 1992, Moldova and Germany established diplomatic relations.

In 1996, Irene Kolhaas was the first German ambassador in Chișinău to present her credentials to the then Moldovan President Mircea Snegur .
