List of the Michelin Guide restaurants in Sweden

The list of restaurants in Sweden awarded by the Michelin Guide includes all restaurants that have been awarded at least one star (as of 2018). One is three-star, four two-star and 21 one-star.

	Bhoga Restaurang	The restaurant on Norra Hamngatan is run by Gustav Knutsson and Niclas Yngvesson. Knutsson is also the head chef, while Jesper Säll is the restaurant's sommelier. 	Esperanto	The restaurant, which is housed in the former Jarlateatern , serves both Swedish and Japanese-inspired dishes. They have held their Michelin star since 2007.	Stockholm-Östermalm location
	Gastrology	The restaurant, which opened at the end of October 2011, is under the management of Jacob Holmström and Anton Bjuhr and has dedicated itself to the new Nordic cuisine. 	Stubborn	Originally the over 100 year old restaurant was called Sturehof, now just Sture. After Ove Linde and Hans Fribergh bought the restaurant, it was extensively restored and Karim Khouani, who previously ran Ambiance à Vindåkra, was hired as head chef. In 2017 the Sture received a star in the Michelin Guide.	Malmo
	Thörnström's Kök	The restaurant, under the management of Håkan Thörnström, opened its doors in 1997 and has contemporary Swedish seasonal cuisine that Thörnström describes as unpretentious.	Gothenburg location	Image wanted
	Upper House	Under the direction of Gabriel Melim Andersson, the restaurant in the hotel of the same name received its first star in 2016. The restaurant was founded in 2012 and uses local, seasonal ingredients. There are beehives on the roof that produce honey used in the restaurant.	Gothenburg

	28+	The 28+ has existed in Gothenburg since 1985. Chef Hans Borén has been working there since 1996 and combines the technology of French cuisine with Swedish ingredients.	Gothenburg location

	Fund	The head chef and owner of the fund, Stefan Karlsson, has been working in Gothenburg's gastronomy for over 20 years. His restaurant serves dishes made from locally sourced high quality ingredients.	Gothenburg location
	Kock & Vin	Chef Claes Grännsjö tries to give local ingredients a spin in his kitchen.	Gothenburg location
	Lux Stockholm	In the now listed brick building of the former company headquarters of Electrolux , the restaurant Lux Stockholm has been housed in the former company canteen since 2003. The restaurant name refers to the original name of the company. The Michelin Guide describes the style of cooking as innovative.	Stockholm- Kungsholmen location
	Mathias Dahlgren-Matsalen	Like the Matbar, Mathias Dahlgren's restaurant is part of the Grand Hôtel Stockholm . Matsalen opened in 2007 in the Bolinderska Palatset. Mathias Dahlgren, one of the initiators of the New Nordic Kitchen , describes his cuisine as "natural".	Stockholm- Norrmalm location
	Ambiance à Vindåkra	In 2010 the restaurant was opened by the French chef Karim Khouani. In 2015 the restaurant received a star in the Michelin Guide. At the end of 2016, Khouani sold the restaurant and started working at the Sture.	Malmo location

	Sjömagasinet	In his apprenticeship, head chef Gustav Trägerårdh a. a. one year in three-star restaurant The Waterside Inn by Alain Roux worked and was in 2010 when Swedish Chef of the Year award. The restaurant is located in the harbor area and is a warehouse built by the East India Company in 1775 .	Gothenburg location

The ratings of the Swedish restaurants were in the current MICHELIN Guide Main Cities of Europe until 2014 , and therefore only included restaurants in the capital region of Stockholm and in the vicinity of Gothenburg. However, they have been published in the Michelin Nordic Cities Guide since 2015 .
