This list includes violent attacks on Jews , Jewish facilities, and Israeli facilities in the United States of America . Failed and foiled attack plans are also listed.

Crown Heights Riots August 19-21, 1991 New York City , New York The Crown Heights Riots are violent clashes between the Jewish and black population in the New York borough of Crown Heights in the summer of 1991. The unrest was triggered by a car accident in which a vehicle from the motorcade of Chabad chairman Menachem Mendel Schneerson accidentally ran over two children of Guyanese immigrants. One of the children was killed in the accident. On the evening of the accident, black youths were roaming the streets of the district, which were mainly inhabited by Jews, throwing stones and bottles and setting cars on fire. On the morning of August 20, the Jewish student Yankel Rosenbaum was stabbed by a group of black youths and he later died in hospital. Over the next few days, several Jews were injured, shops looted and houses with Jewish residents damaged.
Attack on a group of yeshiva students March 1, 1994 New York City , New York An assassin fires shots on a van on the Brooklyn Bridge in which there are ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students. Four of them are injured, one of the students dies a few days later. Before the attack, the assassin is said to have attended an extremely anti-Semitic sermon in the Islamic Society of Bay Ridge mosque.
Attack on a synagogue March 20, 1994 Eugene , Oregon Chris Lord, who has ties to the far-right Popular Front and American Front , fired ten shots at the Temple Beth Israel synagogue. The interior of the synagogue is partially damaged.
Attack on a Jewish community center August 10, 1999 Los Angeles , California Right-wing extremist Buford O. Furrow, Jr., who had ties to the Aryan Nations organization , entered the North Valley Community Center in Grenada Hills and opened fire on those present. He injured five people, including three children aged five and six. Furrow then fled the scene and shot a postman of Filipino origin around 40 minutes later in Chatsworth .
Richard the tree hammer rampage April 28, 2000 Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Right-wing extremist Richard Baumhammers kills five people in a two-hour rampage. Baumhammers' first victim was his Jewish neighbor Anita Gordon, whom he shot and whose house he set on fire. He then went to the synagogue of the Beth El Congregation in Scott Township , of which Gordon was a member, shot through the windows of the synagogue and smeared the building with two swastikas . Then shot three people of Chinese, Vietnamese and Indian origins and one African American. Another man of Indian origin died a few years later as a result of the attack. He also shot the window panes of the Ahavath Achim Congregation synagogue in Carnegie .
Arson attack on a synagogue October 13, 2000 Syracuse , New York A man of Palestinian origin sets fire to the Beth El Synagogue in Syracuse, seriously damaging it.
Stop on the ticket counter of the El Al airline in Los Angeles International Airport 4th July 2002 Los Angeles , California The Islamist Hesham Mohamed Hadayet shot dead two people and injured four others at the ticket counter of the Israeli airline El Al in Los Angeles International Airport . Hadayet is overpowered by the airline's security staff and is shot.
Attack on a synagogue October 25, 2002 Eugene , Oregon Five members of the right-wing Popular Front throw stones with swastikas engraved on them through the windows of the Temple Beth Israel synagogue during a service with around 80 participants .
Attack on the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle July 28, 2006 Seattle , Washington A man breaks into the building of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle and opens fire on those present. One woman is killed and five others injured. The assassin was clearly anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic.
Attack on the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum June 10, 2009 Washington, DC Right-wing extremist and Holocaust denier James von Brunn shoots a security guard as he enters the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum . He is injured in an exchange of fire with the other guards and can be overwhelmed.
Attack on a Jewish community center and an old people's home April 13, 2014 Overland Park , Kansas Right-wing extremist Frazier Glenn Miller, who belongs to the Ku Klux Klan , shoots two people in front of a Jewish community center and another person in front of a retirement home.
Attack on a synagogue October 27, 2018 Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania → Main article: Assassination attempt in the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018

Right-wing extremist Robert Bowers shot dead eleven people and injured six in the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

Attempted attack on two Jews in front of a synagogue 23rd November 2018 Los Angeles , California Two men are cursed anti-Semitic when they leave a synagogue. The attacker also tries to run over them with his car. The men remain unharmed. The police arrest the attacker. A knife is also found in his car.
Attack on a synagogue April 27, 2019 Poway , California → Main article: Attack on a synagogue in Poway

A right-wing extremist shoots a person in a synagogue and injures three others.

Attack on a kosher grocery store December 10, 2019 Jersey City , New Jersey → Main article: Jersey City attack

Two suspected Black Hebrew Israelites sympathizers shoot three people in a kosher supermarket. They also previously killed a police officer. Following the attack, the two attackers were shot dead in an exchange of fire with the police that lasted several hours.

Knife attack on a Hanukkah celebration December 28, 2019 Monsey , Rockland County , New York During a celebration for the Jewish festival of Hanukkah in a rabbi's house , a man attacks those present with a knife and injures five people, at least one seriously. The perpetrator was able to flee and is said to have tried to break into the neighboring synagogue before being arrested.
