List of geese breeds
This list of breeds of goose gives names of different breeds of domestic and hump geese . The same races can appear more than once if they are known by different names.
If the breed is recognized in the European Association for Poultry, Pigeon, Bird, Rabbit and Cavia Breeding (EE), the country code of the country of origin follows. All breeds recognized by the Federation of German Rassegeflügelzucher (BDRG) are described in the breed poultry standard for Europe and are recognized by all member associations of the Entente Européenne, such as the Breed Association of Austrian Small Animal Breeders (RÖK) and the Swiss Breed Poultry Association (SRGV). Breeds that are described in the European standard , ie have a breed standard recognized throughout Europe , are also marked with the abbreviation "EE".
In addition, rare breeds that receive special funding from the European Association at European shows and international shows, as well as the Diverse Initiative for the Conservation of Old and Endangered Pet Breeds (VIEH) and / or the Society for the Conservation of Old and Endangered Pet Breeds (GEH) are considered in their existence at risk classified races marked.
