List of torpedoes by country of origin
This is a list that lists all torpedoes, separated by country of origin, that currently have an article in the German-language Wikipedia. It is separated from the torpedo category in that articles on torpedo technology (example: magneto (weapon) ) cannot be classified here.

Germany
- G7 (torpedo) , German weapon in World War II , with variants such as the wren .
- Dachshund (torpedo) , a slow-moving torpedo with high endurance (up to 10 hours) for the purpose of circling in a target area. German development on the basis of the G7e during World War II.
- Bomb torpedo BT 400 , German project without real use from the Second World War.

F.
France
- DTCN L5 , heavy electrically powered torpedo from the 1960s.
- DTCN L4 , lighter variant of the L5 for use by aircraft, first French draft based on English units of measurement as part of a NATO standardization program.
- DTCN F17 , successor to the L5, where the problem of the short range has been eliminated.
G
Great Britain
- Mark VIII (torpedo) , a standard torpedo developed by the Royal Navy in 1925 during World War II. Was used to sink the General Belgrano during the Falklands War.
- Mk 24 Tigerfish , an electrically powered heavy torpedo from the 1970s
- Spearfish (Torpedo) , successor to the Tigerfish , developed for high speed and deep diving ability to attack fast deep diving Russian submarines like the Alfa class .
- Stingray (torpedo) , a torpedo suitable for use by helicopters and from the maritime patrol British Aerospace Nimrod .
I.
Italy
- Motofides A 184 , a heavy torpedo, equally suitable for the fight against surface and underwater targets as well as for the use of surface ships as well as submarines.
- Motofides A 244 , further development of the A 184 .
J
Japan
- Torpedo year 8 , developed in 1919, partly used in World War II
- Torpedo Type 92 , electric torpedo, used in World War II.
- Torpedo Type 93 Long Lance , a fast, heavy torpedo with a caliber of 610 millimeters for use by surface units of the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II.
- Torpedo Type 95 , scaled-down Long Lance version in caliber 533 millimeters for use by Japanese submarines from World War II.
- Torpedo Type 80 , further development of the Torpedo Mark 37 , u. a. with wire steering, in use since the 1980s.

R.
Russia / Soviet Union
- Torpedo 53-39 Standard torpedo used by Soviet submarines at the beginning of the Second World War
- Torpedo 53-39MP was a further developed version from the Cold World War of the unguided 53-39 and functioned as an area search torpedo .
- Torpedoes ET-46 and ET-56, copies of the German G-7e torpedoes that were developed in the Soviet Union in the 1950s.
- Torpedo 53-57 was an unguided torpedo for use against surface ships from the Cold War. With a top speed of up to 51 knots, it was very fast and could carry a conventional warhead as well as a nuclear warhead .
- Torpedo 53-61 from the Cold War was a further development of the 53-57 and was able to track targets independently with built-in sensors.
- SET-40 , a light torpedo for submarine combat with active target search from 1962.
- Torpedo Type 65 , one of the standard weapons of nuclear powered submarines in the Soviet fleet, which is also used in the Russian Navy. It is believed that such a torpedo with hydrogen peroxide as a fuel component caused the sinking of the K-141 Kursk through an explosion .
- USET-80 , a heavy torpedo weighing two tons, which is electrically powered, dives relatively deep and uses both sonar and wake sensors to search for targets ( above and below the water).
- UGST , a torpedo with water jet propulsion, which has a long range of up to 50,000 meters.
- Shkwal , a modern torpedo that, thanks to supercavitation, can travel several hundred kilometers per hour and can be equipped with a nuclear warhead .
S.
Sweden
- FFV Type 61 , heavy torpedo that was primarily intended for use against surface targets from submarines, ships and coastal positions.
- FFV Type 42 , light torpedo for use by helicopters against submarines. First torpedo that could still be steered in the air.
