License to Kill is a computer game released in 1989 based on the James Bond film of the same name .
technology
- The game is played from a bird's eye view.
- Within a level it can happen that the character has to leave his vehicle in order to continue on foot.
- Weapon changes are possible. You can z. B. swap for a submachine gun. However, the changes only affect the rate of fire.
- The game does not have a memory function.
particularities
- The cover varied from country to country. There was also a version whose cover featured a pre-poster of Timothy Dalton and his gold Walther PP .
- Implementation was also planned and developed for the NES . When the film was completed, it had been too long since the film had started, so that marketing Domark no longer seemed sensible.
- The game originally appeared as a DOS version and was then ported to Amiga , Amstrad CPC , Atari ST , BBC Micro , Commodore 64 , MSX and ZX Spectrum .
