The world is not enough (original title: The World Is Not Enough ) is a video game , which is based on the James Bond film The world is not enough .
action
Except for a few details, the game is based on the plot of the film.
Nintendo 64
- James Bond starts in the Swiss industrial bank in Spain and has to find the suitcase and escape. The MI-6 headquarters is attacked and M's old friend Sir Robert King is killed by bomb. Bond then chases the killer through London (in the film by boat). On the way he even has to help the police deactivate bombs in the subway. In Baku you have to sneak out of Elektra's domicile and follow her secretary Davidov. This is followed by levels on the airfield, the nuclear test site and in Istanbul , where Bond Renard and Elektra have to put down their craft in Maiden's Tower . The last level takes place in the submarine .
- This Bond game was one of the first games to make speech possible on the Nintendo 64. However, the user had to be in possession of a memory extension that was exchanged in the front part of the device.
Playstation
- The plot is so similar to the N64 version, except that you have to play Baccarat in Valentins Casino and defeat the croupier to advance one level.
- Cutscenes are like in the game Tomorrow Never Dies filled with footage from the film.
Gameboy Color
Similar to the N64 version in terms of plot. Due to the technical limitations you play from a bird's eye view.
Playstation 2
A PS2 variant was also planned for 2000/2001. Screenshots have already been shown in fanzines . The variant did not get beyond the development stage. The engine was then used for the Bond game Agent in the Crossfire .
