Lorenz Reitmeier
Lorenz Josef Reitmeier (born September 22, 1930 in Munich ; † January 21, 2020 in Dachau ) was a German local politician (non-party).
Career
Reitmeier was born as the son of a craftsman in the old town of Dachau. After studying, state examination and doctorate, he worked at the Fürstenfeldbruck district office. From 1966 to 1996 he was mayor of Dachau. He was first mayor and was given the title of Lord Mayor when he was raised to the status of a large district town (ordinance of January 4, 1973) .
