Lorenz Wachinger

Lorenz Wachinger (* 1936 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , psychologist , psychotherapist , couple counselor and author .

Life

Lorenz Wachinger was ordained a priest in 1961. After studying philosophy and theology in Munich with the final diploma , he was in 1968 in fundamental theology at Heinrich Fries for a doctor of theology doctorate . In 1970 he married. He completed a psychology degree in 1975 as a certified psychologist and completed training in couple counseling.

Lorenz Wachinger co-edited the life learning series of Pfeiffer-Verlag for a long time , which made many basic texts on psychology accessible.

He worked as a couple counselor and in the training of pastors and published on topics of theology, psychology and spirituality.
