Lorenzo Schioppa
Lorenzo Schioppa (born November 10, 1871 in Naples , Italy , † April 23, 1935 in Rome ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Lorenzo Schioppa received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Naples on April 18, 1891 .
On August 10, 1920 Pope Benedict XV appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Mocissus and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in Hungary . The Apostolic Nuncio in Germany , Andreas Franz Cardinal Frühwirth OP , donated him episcopal ordination on November 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the papal almsman , Archbishop Giovanni Nasalli Rocca di Corneliano , and the apostolic nuncio in Czechoslovakia , Archbishop Clemente Micara .
On May 3, 1925 Lorenzo Schioppa was from Pope Pius XI. appointed Apostolic Internuncio in the Netherlands . On March 10, 1927 Lorenzo Schioppa became Apostolic Internuntius in Lithuania . Schioppa resigned as Apostolic Internuntius in Lithuania on May 27, 1928.
