Lothar Köster (* 1924 ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Köster found a broad field of activity as an actor and director on stages in Berlin. He became known to a wide audience primarily through his voice, which he used as a voice actor in numerous film and television productions for more than three decades. He dubbed Nello Pazzafini in Banana Joe , Franco Ressel in the second German version of Four Fists for a Hallelujah , Ottaviano Dell'Acqua in A Fist Goes West , George Innes in Quadrophenia , Bernard Hill in Die Bounty and Peter O'Toole in Kidnapped - The Adventures of David Balfour .

As an actor in film and television, he was a rare guest. He played in Robert Adolf Stemmle's drama Kubinke , in Gustav Rudolf Sellner's Gogol production Der Revisor , in Günter Gräwert's television play It goes his way or trouble on our level , in Peter Hajek's comedy Be tender, penguin and in several films in the Tatort series . He has also taken on roles in television series such as Falling for Stone , A Man Will Go Up, and The Elegant Dog .
