Keenan Wynn began his career in the theater in the 1930s, and between 1935 and 1943 he played in various Broadway performances . He got his first roles in films in the early 1940s and was a busy actor until his death. Wynn also had notable appearances in film musicals, including Annie Get Your Gun and Kiss me, Katchen! or in The Golden Rainbow next to Fred Astaire . In the third film, Herbie , Wynn plays the role of Hawk and is the opponent of the eponymous VW Beetle. In addition, Wynn was seen in countless television films and series in the course of his career, including the early 1980s in the soap opera Dallas as Willard "Digger" Barnes, the opponent of John Ross sr. "Jock" Ewing ( Jim Davis ).
As early as 1959 he and James Brough had submitted his autobiography with the significant title Ed Wynn's Son . The actor was married three times, most recently to Sharley Hudson from 1954 until his death, and had five children. Keenan Wynn died at 70 years in California's Brentwood to cancer .
