The Loyre is a river in France that runs in the Corrèze department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Martin-Sepert , generally drains south through a sparsely populated area and flows 45 kilometers below Varetz as a right tributary into the Vézère .

The Loyre should not be confused with a 14 kilometer long stream of the same name in the same department, which rises near Noailhac (Corrèze) and flows into the Corrèze as a left tributary near Malemort-sur-Corrèze .
