Manoir d'Hubertant

Lozon is a village and a former French community with 299 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the canton of Saint-Lô-1 and the arrondissement of Saint-Lô .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Marigny and Lozon were merged into a Commune nouvelle with the name Marigny-Le-Lozon and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Marigny.

geography

The place is located about 15 kilometers northeast of the arrondissement capital Saint-Lô and just as far northeast of Coutances on the left bank of the Lozon river of the same name .

The area is located on the southern edge of the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park .
