Lué-en-Baugeois is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Jarzé Villages with 327 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the municipalities of Beauveau , Chaumont-d'Anjou , Jarzé and Lué-en-Baugeois were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Jarzé Villages. The municipality of Lué-en-Baugeois belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Angers-6 (until 2015: canton Seiches-sur-le-Loir ).

Lué-en-Baugeois is located in the north of the Maine-et-Loire department in an area dominated by agriculture and viticulture, which is also called Baugeois after the small town of Baugé .

economy

The viticulture of Lué-en-Baugeois is mainly determined by the Domaine de la Tuffière. To a large extent there is direct marketing. The wines are assigned to the Anjou growing region . Lué-en-Baugeois is one of only a few places in the Baugeois where viticulture is practiced.
