Lubowo (German Lübow ) is a village in the municipality of Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
Geographical location
Lubowo is located in Eastern Pomerania on the river Ihna , about six kilometers north of the small town of Stargard and 29 kilometers east of the town of Stettin ( Szczecin ).
history
The church village was owned by the city of Stargard . Around 1780 there was a fiefdom school in Lübow, five full farmers , seven half farmers , a schoolmaster and, taking into account the granaries and shepherds' houses, a total of 21 fireplaces. In 1864 Lübow had 170 inhabitants, 80 buildings, including 29 residential buildings; the Beyersdorfsche Mühle had 21 residents, three buildings and a house.
Around 1925 the district of Lübow had an area of 4 km², and there were 34 residential buildings in the municipality. There were two places of residence in the municipality:
- Expansion of the Lohmühle
- Luebow
In 1925 there were 189 inhabitants in Lübow, who were spread over 42 households.
Until 1945 Lübow belonged to the Saatzig district of the Pomerania province .
Towards the end of the Second World War , Klempin was occupied by the Soviet Army in early March 1945 . After the end of the war, the Lübow became part of Poland as Lubowo .

The population present in Lübow until 1945 belonged to the Protestant denomination. In 1925 all residents of Lübow were Protestants.
