Ludwig Zietkiewicz

Ludwig Zietkiewicz (Polish: Ludwik Ziętkiewicz ), (born July 16, 1831 in Posen , † October 21, 1897 in Łabiszyn ) was a Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Zietkiewicz was the son of Piotr Ziętkiewicz and Eleonora Antonina nee. Kurowski. Zietkiewicz attended the Catholic Mariengymnasium in Poznan and passed the Abitur exams at the grammar school in Trzemeszno on March 1, 1853. He then attended the Catholic archbishop's spiritual seminary in Poznan for three years and was consecrated in Gniezno on December 27, 1856. From January 18, 1857, he was vicar at the Catholic Church in Trzemeszno until April 26, 1860. On April 28, 1860, he took over the independent administration of the Catholic Church in Objezierze as a pastor .

Between 1882 and 1885 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1874 to 1877 of the German Reichstag for the Polish parliamentary group and the constituency of Posen 2 ( Birnbaum , Samter , Obornik ).
