Ludwig Zorn

Ludwig Zorn (born June 14, 1865 in Wertheim , † February 24, 1921 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German painter .

Zorn studied from 1881 at the Grand Ducal Art School in Karlsruhe under Gustav Schönleber , in 1882 at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf , from 1882 to 1888 again at the Art School in Karlsruhe under Gustav Schönleber. From 1890 to 1895 he worked as a drawing teacher at the Bender Institute in Weinheim , then as a drawing teacher at the University of Freiburg i. Br. He was a member of the artists' association " Breisgauer Fünfer ". Zorn was friends with the Black Forest painter Hermann Dischler .
