Ludwig von Rönne

Ludwig Moritz Peter von Rönne (born October 18, 1804 in Glückstadt , † December 22, 1891 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer , journalist and constitutional law teacher .

Life

Rönne studied in Bonn and Berlin from 1822 , entered the Prussian judicial service as an auscultator in 1825, and became a judicial judge in Berlin in 1828. In the same year he was appointed regional and city judge in Münsterberg , in 1832 he was transferred to Hirschberg as regional and city court director , and in 1836 as higher regional judge to Breslau . In 1841 he was appointed as an "unskilled worker" (a kind of assistant) to the Berlin Court of Appeal , where he was then from 1842 to 1859 a member of the Chamber Court. In addition to working as a councilor at the Kurmärkische pupil college , he became vice-president of the appellate court in Glogau in 1859 .

From 1859 to 1863 he was a member of the then First Chamber and from 1868 to 1879 of the House of Representatives , where he belonged to the group of the old liberals and in the course of his time in parliament he joined various parliamentary groups, most recently he was a member of the National Liberals . Dismissed with a pension on his application in 1868, he has devoted himself to writing in Berlin ever since. From 1871 to 1877 he was a member of the German Reichstag . From 1871 to 1874 he represented the constituency of Posen 2 as a member of parliament, and from 1874 to 1877 the constituency of Liegnitz 2.

In addition to the two large collections of comments that Rönne published together with others, he was also able to publish other works (see below) .

His grave is in the cemetery of the St. Matthäi parish in Berlin-Schöneberg . Rönnestrasse in Berlin-Charlottenburg was named after him in 1897 .

With his brother Friedrich Ludwig von Rönne (* 1797 in Glückstadt; † April 7, 1865 in Berlin) he obtained the second edition of Ernst Ferdinand Klein's " System of Prussian Civil Law " (Halle 1835–36, 2 volumes).
