Luigi Marrucci (born March 25, 1945 in Montescudaio , Province of Pisa , Italy ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and emeritus bishop of Civitavecchia-Tarquinia .

Life

Luigi Marrucci received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Volterra on June 29, 1970 .

On November 25, 2010 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Civitavecchia-Tarquinia. The Archbishop of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno , Luigi Moretti , donated him episcopal ordination on January 29, 2011 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Volterra , Alberto Silvani , and the Bishop of Porto-Santa Rufina , Gino Reali . The inauguration took place on February 19, 2011.

On February 7, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints .

On June 18, 2020, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
