Luigi Zanzottera

Luigi Zanzottera OSI (born March 11, 1926 in Santo Stefano Ticino , † January 18, 2005 ) was auxiliary bishop in Huaraz .

Life

Luigi Zanzottera joined the Order of the Oblates of Saint Joseph in Asti and was ordained a priest on July 4, 1954 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Huaraz and titular bishop of Obori on March 13, 1969 . The bishop of Huaraz, Teodosio Moreno Quintana , ordained him episcopal on April 20 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were James Edward Charles Burke OP , Prelate of Chimbote , and Dante Frasnelli Tarter OSI, Prelate of Huari .

He resigned from this office on May 31, 1970.
